An unexpected plane shows up at the terminal of a busy airport. The gate crew is baffled, especially since no one saw it arrive and it didn't show up on the flight manifest. The gate crew tries to contact the flight crew, but gets no reply. When they enter the plane the only people they find on board are about thirty babies.
Flash forward thirteen years. Jonah has always known he was adopted. Oddly enough, his best friend Chip has recently found out he is also adopted. The two begin receiving mysterious notes telling them that "you are one of the missing," and "they are coming for you." The two boys begin to unravel the mysteries that surround their adoptions, and the possiblity that they not only came from another place, but perhaps another time.
